We often seek counseling for a variety of reasons, but generally it revolves around distressing thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. It’s hard to understand why we think or behave the way we do. We just know we are in pain and that something is wrong. We want change, but have no idea where to start.

As a therapist, I seek to create and foster a safe environment that enables you to discover what is underneath those destructive patterns. My approach is trauma-informed, and it is based, in part, on attachment theory, emotionally-focused therapy, neuroscience, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I am a counselor who has experience working with both children and adults. My areas of interest include depression and anxiety, grief after pregnancy loss or abortion, divorce, betrayal trauma, family of origin issues, chronic illness and chronic pain. I also have a special interest in working with the elderly. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. It would be an honor to walk with you on your journey toward emotional and spiritual health.  My goal is to help you become the “you” you were created to be.
