You were designed to live fully alive, in the present, connected in relationship to family and friends. Trauma affects body, soul, and spirit; no parts of us are left unscathed. It can leave us feeling detached from ourselves and others, as if we are trapped behind a barrier unable to access real life, real connection, real belonging.
The impact of trauma can look like PTSD, depression, anxiety, or anger, but it can also look like people pleasing, unfulfilling relationships, low self-worth, difficulty asserting boundaries, or just feeling stuck.
Would you like to learn to live in a way that sets you free? I would love to join you on your journey to freedom and joy.
I am passionate about helping people overcome trauma. I graduated from Crown College with a Master of Arts in Counseling. I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am certified in EMDR trauma therapy and integrate mindfulness and attachment-focused therapies that deepen awareness and strengthen the relationship between self and others. As your counselor, I will provide a safe place for you to unpack and process your experiences by modeling healthy relationship and secure attachment.
I am a Christ-follower who is also a mental health counselor. My faith in Jesus Christ teaches me that all people have unconditional value and are worthy of love, acceptance, honesty, freedom, and wholeness. While my faith holds me accountable to this standard, I never impose my beliefs on others and enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and world views.
