There have been seasons in my life that I endured by surviving one day at a time. As a counselor, I love helping my clients navigate through the struggles that they are surviving while finding new ways to thrive in their lives. Professionally, I have worked with adults and adolescents on a myriad of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, sexuality, relational difficulties, and forgiveness issues. I utilize an integrative counseling approach that predominantly relies on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients refocus their mindsets toward more fulfilling life goals.

Before joining the professional counseling community, I enjoyed a fifteen-year career in Christian ministry. I spent the majority of this time as a youth pastor, and I love continuing that passion of helping young people through professional counseling. This period of ministry also included a tenure as a Crisis Counselor at Boys Town. These years provided me substantial experience in pastoral counseling and relational counseling.

My professional training includes a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Crown College and a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Grace University. Through my professional experiences and education, I have successfully helped people find more fullness in their lives. So, if you’re struggling to survive today, don’t give up on a chance to thrive tomorrow.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.” –John 10:10, BSB
